These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MomCircleNG mobile app and website (momcircleng.app). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who Can Use MomCircleNG

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. MomCircleNG is built for mothers and parents, but supportive family members and professionals are welcome.

2. Your Account & Authentication

  • You can create an account using your email and password, or a supported third-party sign-in (such as Google or Apple). You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity that happens through your account.
  • Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
  • You can delete your account at any time from the app's Settings page. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, posts, saved items, and personal data from our systems, except where we are legally required to retain records (for example, payment records).

3. Community Rules

MomCircleNG exists so mothers can find community, support and growth. To keep it that way:

  • Be kind. No bullying, harassment, shaming, or hate speech.
  • Respect privacy. Do not share screenshots of other members' posts outside the platform without their consent.
  • Be honest. No impersonation, misinformation, or fraudulent listings.
  • No spam or unsolicited advertising in community spaces. Mom-owned businesses may list themselves in the Business Directory.
  • Do not post content that is unlawful, harmful, sexually explicit, or that promotes violence.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. Ask Mama AI

Ask Mama AI is an AI assistant that provides general information and support. It does not provide medical, mental health, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. In an emergency, contact your doctor or the appropriate emergency service. Free Access accounts may use a limited number of questions; MomCircleNG Members have unlimited use.

5. Content and Ownership

  • Our content: Courses, e-books, articles, videos, graphics, and platform features are owned by MomCircleNG and protected by intellectual property laws. Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them. Downloading, reselling, or redistributing this content is not allowed.
  • Your content: You keep ownership of the posts, reviews, and reflections you create. By posting in community spaces, you grant MomCircleNG a royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce and display your content within the service (including through the hosting and service providers we use to run the platform) for as long as your account is active, so we can operate and show the platform. You confirm that you have the rights to post your content and that it does not violate these Terms or anyone else's rights.

6. Membership Subscriptions

  • Membership (MomCircleNG Member) is an annual plan purchased on the MomCircleNG website (momcircleng.app/membership) via Paystack, our third-party payment processor. We do not store your card details on the platform. The iOS and Android apps do not offer in-app purchases of membership or any digital content, and do not use Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing — digital purchases are made on the website only.
  • Membership is a single upfront annual payment. There is no automatic renewal and no automatic charge — to continue after your year ends, you pay again on the website.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account settings ("Return to Free Access"). Cancellation takes effect immediately and ends your Member benefits and Member badge for the remainder of the paid period. Because we do not auto-renew, no further charges are applied after cancellation.
  • Refunds are handled per Paystack's policy and applicable Nigerian consumer law. To request a refund, contact us.
  • We may change plan features or pricing; any change will not affect your current paid year.

7. Products & E-books

Some guides, e-books, resources, and other products are sold individually. Digital items are purchased on the website only, paid via Paystack; physical goods may be purchased in the app or on the website. After payment, you receive access to download or view digital items through your account, for personal, non-transferable use. Downloading, reselling, or redistributing this content is not allowed, and we may revoke access if these Terms are breached. Physical goods are fulfilled by the seller (see Marketplace below).

8. Marketplace, Give & Swap, and Business Directory

  • MomCircleNG helps members connect but is not a party to any transaction between members. We do not guarantee goods, services, or outcomes from member-to-member exchanges. Please transact carefully and meet in safe, public places.
  • Marketplace and Business Directory listings require admin approval before they become public, and we may edit, reject, or remove a listing at our discretion.
  • Sellers are responsible for their goods, descriptions, and fulfilment (including delivery of physical items). MomCircleNG does not handle shipping or delivery unless stated otherwise.
  • Give & Swap is a community exchange among members; items are offered in good faith and MomCircleNG is not responsible for their condition or safety.

9. Events

Some events are free and some require a paid ticket purchased on the website via Paystack; MomCircleNG Members may receive a member discount. Event details (times, venues, capacity) may change, and RSVPs and waitlist positions do not guarantee attendance. Refund and change terms for a specific event are shown on that event's details.

10. Third-Party Services & External Links

  • MomCircleNG uses third-party services to run the platform, including Paystack (payments), Google and Apple sign-in (account access), YouTube (video embeds), Instagram, WhatsApp (community groups), and our hosting and email providers. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
  • The MomCircleNG apps do not link out to external payment pages. Where the website or app links to a third-party website, we are not responsible for its content or practices.

11. Limitation of Liability

MomCircleNG is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform or reliance on its content, which is provided for informational purposes.

12. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the platform and delete your account at any time.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Privacy & Your Rights

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data. Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. See the Privacy Policy in the app or contact us to exercise these rights.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
